Booking Conditions

CONDITIONS OF LETTING FOR THE FRIARY

1) Payment A non-returnable deposit of one-third of the hire-charge is payable on booking.  The balance is due, and should be received by us, three weeks prior to the holiday. Final instructions about location and keys etc will be sent on receipt of this.   Bookings made four weeks or less before the start of the holiday should be accompanied by the whole charge.

2) Linen (sheets/duvet-cover, pillowcases and a towel) can be ordered at £8 per person, payable with the final payment.   Blankets or Duvets will be provided as will Bathmats;  but please bring your own  beach towels and  tea/hand towels.

3) Cancellations of the holiday more than three weeks before the starting date will mean that, if we are able to re-let, we will return your full payment, less any administrative expenses.  There will be no refund for cancellations within three weeks of the start-date.

4) The accommodation is ideally suited for 8 people, and we prefer to keep to that number.  We will, however, accommodate one extra person, on request, for an additional charge of 1/8th of the rental.

5) Any problems with the House should, initially, be reported to the Caretaker Mrs Overton (01263.740642) or, if necessary, ourselves (01603.624827).   All breakages should be reported and, if possible, replaced from local stores.

6) No Smoking - we are now a No Smoking House and would ask that you and your guests respect this policy.

7) The house must be left as clean and tidy as it was found, by 10.00 am on the date of departure. There will be a comments sheet which you are invited to complete. Thank you.
